Disney World Part 2

On Wednesday, we took the kids to eat at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Hotel. It's a character breakfast, where you shell out a ton of money and your kids get to see their favorite Disney characters. It ended up being so worth every penny! Not to mention the food was fabulous! The next day we went to Animal Kingdom and ended up stumbling upon lots of other characters, just waiting to take pictures with us! Surprisingly, both kids were very open to the idea of being photographed with big, stuffed animals!

Disney - Part 1

We had a fabulous time at Disney World! We flew down on January 26, and spent a very busy, fun-filled 4 days doing everything we possibly could. Jackson went to the Magic Kingdom 3 times! We also did 1/2 day trips to Epcot and Hollywood Studios, and spent an entire day at Animal Kingdom. It was an absolute blast, and we loved having Grammy & Papa there to enjoy the fun, too. The weather was perfect, and barely any lines to deal with. I'd always recommend going in January if you can. Here's a few of our favorite pictures!

Jackson was SO brave and did the Water Rapids ride twice! The first time he wore a poncho and stayed dry. This time, he went without the poncho (Papa wore it!), and ended up getting drenched!

It's been a LONG time since i've posted a new entry. We had a nice Christmas. The boys were surprised with a new playset in the backyard! We've had a busy month of colds, no sleep and getting ready to leave for Disney next Monday! I'll be sure to post lots of those pictures when we return. Let's see if this video works - I thought it was pretty cute of the kids!

Santa & the Train Ride

Sunday night we went to a local park for a Holiday Express train ride, and the chance to meet Santa. Jackson wanted nothing to do with Santa, and we respected that and didn't push him. However, to our surprise - Cooper LOVED Santa! He was the hit with all the elves and other people waiting, they kept telling us "Take another picture - look at him!". It was alot of fun, and we hope to make it a yearly tradition.

Holiday Fun

The Stow family got to enjoy 5 whole days with Grammy & Papa! We did so much fun stuff, like playing their Wii (yes, Grammy & Papa bought one for themselves!), visiting the Life & Science museum, celebrating Jeff's birthday and of course enjoying a wonderful turkey dinner with family and close friends. Here's some highlights of our time!

Zoo trip!

Jeff & I have made a tradition of taking Jackson to the zoo every fall, and we were excited to include Cooper in the trip! He didn't see much, but he was an easy traveling companion. The animals were lazy, lazy, lazy - but who can blame them, it was a rainy, dreary day!

Halloween!

Jackson had a great Halloween! It started with a parade and songfest at preschool, and then he had friends over for trick or treating. He enjoyed collecting candy, I think this was the first year he actually got the concept! Coop went along for the ride, but quickly got bored of not being able to do anything!
